“ Had a beverage and an order of tacos. Was the fastest service I've ever experienced for a Mexican restaurant, I think it would of took longer eating at Culver's. The rice and beans were the tastiest I can remember having. I ordered tacos al pastor as well as a steak one, they were very good and I also liked their house hot sauce. The service was excellent, I was seated immediately and checked on multiple times. The only two things I could even complain about where the single layer corn tortillas instead of a double layer easily fell apart and the salsa was different and good but not one of my favorites. If you like Mexican I definitely would give this place a try. ”

“ Authentic Mexican food as good as any anywhere. Especially fantastic is their pozole (traditional, Mexican soup.) It is so flavorful that the next day all I could think about was finishing the generous portion I had been given the day before. It is made from scratch the traditional way. The corn flavor is pronounced, and the broth is so flavorful I feared it was full of beef fat, but I concluded that they skim it off as none appeared the next day in the fridge at the top of the broth . The beef is delicious and generous in quantity. I go to a lot of Mexican restaurants in Wisconsin. (every chance I get I go to a new one to test them out) I usually have their chicken enchiladas, tamale, y chile relleno. All three have been excellent here at Nachos. (although my personal preference is for less meat and more masa in the tamale.) Their mole sauce is very good. Mexican music is playing which accentuates the cultural ambience. The servers all speak Spanish as well as English and are very well trained, including standing by the kitchen, looking out over the dining room to attend to anyone who might have an issue. Excellent service we are very lucky to have a place like this in Minocqua. The photo is of the pozole, the very professional and attentive server, explained that it is often eaten with a tortilla, bite a piece off the tortilla and then add a spoonful of soup along with the the added extras in the little bowl, including diced onion, lettuce... ”

“ Fun Mexican restaurant. Loved the decor. Tamales were the best I’ve ever had. Churros were done perfectly. Everything was so fresh. Verde salsa had a smidge more cilantro than I prefer, but I don’t really care for cilantro, so my take on that is biased. Best queso I’ve had yet. Service was great. I wish this was closer to home! ”

“ Not just the best Mexican restaurant in the Minocqua area, but probably one of the best overall. We have been here for 5 or 6 weeks in a row, and felt like sharing our experience. The California burrito is incredible, huge portions and fresh ingredients. My wife's favorite is the chicken fajita salad. For big appetites, they have a "giant" menu with oversized portions on huge plates. The wait staff are attentative and funny. Great place to go! ”

“ A great spot for Mexican food. We were there on a Saturday in the late afternoon. The staff was friendly and the dining room was clean and well organized. The chips are some of the best chips I have ever had and I even bought a to-go bag of them for later. The waitstaff was friendly. They are accommodating to dietary needs and are vegan friendly. I had the Mexico salad and it was perfect! My husband had the rice and bean burrito and he loved it. The rice was cooked perfectly and was a nice light brown rice. The hot sauce is house made and amazing!!! Nacho’s is on our list of go-to restaurants for a good meal when we are in the Northwoods. (Side note- I did post a picture of the 4% credit card service fee disclaimer in case you would like to avoid the fee, make sure you have cash to pay for your bill) ”

“ I don't know how else to put it besides perfect! The food was so good. The price you pay compared to the amount of food you get is incredible. We have been here a few times now and it's always so good. I got the Philly steak burrito and it was the best burrito I've ever had, hands down. Price was good considering we drank some top shelf tequila and the service was amazing. Will definitely be making this part of our Minocqua trips from here on out. ”
